An Australian teenager who hacked into Apple twice For a job

An Australian teenager who hacked into Apple twice just wanted a job in Apple. The 17-year-old this week pleaded guilty to various computer hacking charges in Adelaide Youth Court.

As stated by the Australian Broadcasting Company (ABC), the Australian teenager had first hacked the system in 2015 when he was 13 and again in 2017, downloading private records and data.

Apple found that their system was being compromised and then they reported it to the FBI,

Which later reported to the Australian Federal Police, ABC reported.

Luckily for the teen, Apple did not proclaim any financial or intellectual loss from the hack.

The teen’s lawyer, Mark Twiggs, said in court that,

“He had no idea about the seriousness of the offense and assumed that when it was found he might get a job in the company.”

Mark Twiggs mentioned a separate event in Europe when another person hacked into Apple’s system and allegedly got a job later.

The lawyer requested the judge not to sentence the Australian teenager because he was “sorry” and Apple didn’t experience any financial or intellectual loss from the hacking.

Furthermore, the Judge accepted that the teen is “talented” but advised him to stay away from trouble. He emphasized that the hacking could have caused serious damage.

Within expectations of getting a job with the tech company, the Australian teenager escaped jail time.

Moreover, he was advised by the judge to use his talents for good rather than evil.

So what do you think about this all incident?

We must use our skills only for good purposes and must not do something illegal which can further cause serious damage to anyone’s life.
