As we all know the foldable smartphone is the big aim for 2019.
Samsung did launch a foldable smartphone when the company unveiled the Galaxy Fold earlier this year. And they were the first one to do so.
They were nearly followed by Huawei, who came up with the Mate X. Oppo, Xiaomi and Motorola are said to be working on their versions of foldable smartphones.
And it looks like Google could be next to join the list.

As from the latest sources, Google is also working on a foldable smartphone.
Google has lately registered a patent which suggests that the search engine giant could be engaged in a “Z-fold” display technology that could bend in two different places without breaking.
Google’s foldable phone seems completely similar to Mate X, which folds vertically.
According to the patent pictures, the Google foldable device is expected to have an inward folding display.
In the pictures, the device can be viewed as somewhat folded as well as completely folded.
The device is expected to hold an organic LED (OLED) display.
Meanwhile, Google itself has stated that Android Q will be able to work with some of the foldable phones that coming up later this year.
Android Q first beta has already been rolled out and developers will be ready to examine how their apps operate on screens like these which hold complicated app views.
