Huawei P20 leaked in renders and 360-degree video
As usual, the renders and video display the unannounced gadget from all sides.
Alleged live images of the smartphone, with an assumed list of specifications and features, have now surfaced online.
The Huawei P20 is expected to be announced in Paris on March 27
The renders reconfirm the appearance of three cameras in a vertical pattern on the back, alongside a forward-looking unique fingerprint scanner
The company is further expected to launch one more affordable alternative, called P20 Lite, at the same event.
Past renders given by OnLeaks and Tiger Mobiles had no front-facing fingerprint scanner, This may symbolize an under-glass scanner could be a chance in the P20 Plus variant.
The notch is noticeable at the top of the screen surrounding the earpiece speaker and what looks to be dual front-facing cameras.
One of these is rumored to be Huawei’s answer to Apple’s FaceID, something it discussed during the View 10 launch.
At the event, Huawei claimed its solution is safe and secure enough for mobile payments and that it can scan your face in 0.4 seconds.
Huawei P20 leaked 360-degree video
The Huawei P20 will offer a 5.7-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 2280.
That would provide the screen an aspect ratio of 19:9.
The Huawei P20 will be powered by Kirin 970 chipset, which involves dedicated AI components and an octa-core CPU running at a clock speed of 2.36GHz.
One of the sensors that make up the dual camera setup in front, will reportedly enable the P20 to highlight a facial recognition system.
At the top of the phone, it appears as though we see a 3.5mm headphone jack although some say that it is an IR Blaster that appears.
